NEARLY FOUR DECADES OF SERVICE.
For nearly four decades, the apparatus bay doors at Fire Station 48 have opened as firefighters responded to emergencies throughout San Pedro and the Harbor Area.
Today, those doors are deteriorating, increasingly unreliable, and reaching the end of their useful life.
It's time to replace them.

SECONDS SAVE LIVES
When an emergency call comes in, firefighters need reliable access to their apparatus. Aging bay doors can create delays and maintenance problems. Replacing Station 48’s deteriorating doors will support dependable operations for crews serving San Pedro and the Harbor Area. The replacement system and installation plan will be confirmed after the estimate is received.
